After the water treatment process in food plants, the discharged organic sludge can be used as a fertilizer by drying it with AS Engineers’ Paddle Dryer. If the dried sludge is used as fertilizer, it needs to be registered as “dried cell fertilizer” by the local government of each prefecture.
The dried cell fertilizer components are regulated in Fertilizer Regulation Act, and the members must fulfil the regulation.
Previously, components of sludge dried by Paddle Dryer have been inspected to be registered as “dried cell fertilizer”. As a result of the inspection, there was no problem at all. We recently got a result of another review, and the components are also within the provisions.

Aeration: Blowers are used to introducing air into food products, such as bread and other baked goods. Blowers are used in aeration systems to introduce air into liquids, such as yeast cultures, in producing beer or bread. They are used to provide oxygen to the microorganisms and help them grow and ferment.
Mixing: Blowers mix and agitatee food products, such as chocolate and other confectionery items.
Sterilization: Blowers are used to sterilising food processing equipment and facilities by circulating hot air or steam to kill bacteria or other contaminants.
Carbon dioxide recovery: Carbon dioxide is a standard gas used in the food and beverage industry for carbonation, freezing, and packaging. Industrial blowers are used in the recovery process to separate and purify carbon dioxide from other gases and recycle it for reuse.
Vacuum packaging: Industrial blowers are used in vacuum packaging machines to create a vacuum seal around food products to extend their shelf life. This is achieved by removing the air from the packaging before sealing it.
Freeze drying: Industrial blowers are used in freeze-drying machines to remove moisture from food products using a combination of low temperature and high humidity. This process helps to preserve the food and extend its shelf life.
Nitrogen flushing: Nitrogen is used in the food and beverage industry to preserve the freshness and flavour of products by replacing the oxygen in the packaging. Industrial blowers are used for flushing the packaging with nitrogen before sealing it.
Milk drying: Industrial blowers are used in milk drying systems to remove moisture from milk to produce milk powder. This process involves using spray dryers and other drying equipment, which require a steady supply of air to function effectively.
Fruit and vegetable drying: Industrial blowers are used to dry fruits and vegetables to remove moisture and preserve them for extended periods. This process is often done using a combination of heat and airflow provided by industrial blowers.
Beer brewing: Industrial blowers are used in the beer brewing process to oxygenate the wort (unfermented beer) before fermentation and to provide airflow during the fermentation process. This helps to promote healthy yeast growth and ensure a consistent product.
Distillation: Industrial blowers are used in the distillation process to provide airflow and maintain a consistent temperature in the distillation column. This helps to separate the desired product from unwanted impurities and produce a high-quality product.
Pneumatic conveying: Blowers are used in pneumatic conveying systems to transport food materials, such as grains, powders, and pellets, from one location to another within the facility. This can be done through pipelines or tubes; the blowers provide the necessary air pressure to move the materials.
Overall, blowers play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of food products, from when they are processed to when they reach the consumer. By providing the necessary airflow and temperature control, blowers help extend food products’ shelf life and keep them safe for consumption.
Paddle Dryer
Paddle dryers are a popular choice in the food and beverage industry because they are efficiently dry and process a wide range of products. These industrial drying systems use paddles to agitate and mix the dried material while hot air is circulated through the dryer to remove moisture.
